This work burns with a smoldering palette of ochres, rust, and soot, where layered glyphs, newsprint-like fragments, and calligraphic marks collide into a fractured visage that feels both icon and witness. The composition pivots on a single, watchful eye—an anchor of clarity amid abrasion—suggesting consciousness emerging through noise, memory, and cultural sediment. Charcoal blacks and scraped textures operate like scars, turning the surface into an archaeological field in which language becomes image and image becomes testimony. The overall effect is a meditation on identity under pressure: a psyche assembled from archives, ritual signs, and the relentless heat of lived experience.
