This vertical sculpture stages a precarious ascent where dark, human bodies seem to tumble and strive through a spine of pale geometric blocks, the warm wood reading like architecture or doctrineβstructures that both support and constrain. The diagonal torque and repeated outstretched limbs create a choreography of resistance, as if each figure is caught between falling and becoming, suspended in a moment of collective urgency. Against the void of the white ground, the contrast of matte flesh and faceted timber sharpens the tension between instinct and order, turning the work into a meditation on ambition, burden, and the fragile scaffolding of progress.
