This work centers on an old, riveted double door whose grid of panels becomes a quiet architecture of memoryβeach stud a small, tactile punctuation marking timeβs passage. The oxidized teal and earthen ochres create a dialogue between endurance and erosion, where light seems to settle into the crevices rather than illuminate them, turning surface into atmosphere. Framed by thick, weathered borders and crowned with a soft arch, the composition reads like a threshold suspended between sanctuary and secrecy, inviting the viewer to feel the weight of what is protected as much as what is withheld.
