A luminous city rises like a fragile apparition, its spires and facades ignited in molten yellows against a bruised field of crimson, as though the skyline were being forged and threatened in the same breath. The composition hinges on a stark horizon of darknessβan abyss that both grounds the architecture and suggests erasureβwhile glittering, stippled lights flicker like memory trying to hold shape. In the lower register, submerged blues and curling botanical traces introduce a quieter, dreamlike countercurrent, proposing nature not as backdrop but as a submerged witness to urban ambition. The work reads as a meditation on modern splendour: radiant, precarious, and always shadowed by the depths it stands upon.
