



The work stages the city as a brilliant, unruly theatre, then filters it through a constellation of oversized wine glasses that act like lenses of memory—magnifying, distorting, and polishing the everyday into something ceremonious. Crisp daylight and exacting architectural detail anchor the scene, yet the refracted domes, clockfaces, and traffic turn the metropolis into a liquid mirage where heritage and haste share the same fragile surface. The transparent vessels impose a poised, almost aristocratic stillness over the crosswalk’s urgency, suggesting how modern life is continually “contained” by the frameworks through which we choose to look. In this play of clarity and curvature, the city’s identity feels both celebrated and precarious, as if history itself could be tipped, poured, and remade.
