NOW - L-Cysteine - 100 Tablet(s) - NPN: 80004716 -- L-Cysteine is a sulfur-containing amino acid that plays a large role in making the structure of collagen. I also helps generate glutathione, the master antioxidant that helps support detoxification and immune system function. L-Cysteine will help make proteins such as Metallothionein, which have the role of binding to heavy metals such as mercury, lead and cadmium. NOW® L-Cysteine has added Vitamin C to help with collagen formation, and Vitamin B6 to aid glutathione production.
