Story
When she was but a young girl, her father had encouraged her to never back away from fighting the good fight. Whether this meant helping the helpless, or raising her voice for those who had none “ she never shied away from doing what she believed was right, no matter the odds. And so, when the young children in her neighbourhood complained that they were being bullied by a teenage gang, she knew she had to intervene. Unlike the other parents, she was fiercely opposed to sending the teens to a juvenile home. Instead, she wanted to give them a sense of purpose “ something to live for. She joined hands with an animal welfare organisation to set up a shelter which these kids would man. It was a tremendous undertaking, but when the teens parents thanked her with tears in their eyes, she knew that she was their knight in shining armour. Only, her armour was one of kindness.
