A hand-tufted wool carpet drawing from the Beni Ourain vocabulary of the Moroccan Atlas Mountains, the diamond-trellis lattice worked in pile across a deep, mossy green ground. The dense tufted construction gives the geometry weight and visual depth β the ivory motif sits proud of the field rather than printing flat.
The diamond trellis has long belonged to nomadic Berber weaving and to interiors that prefer geometry over ornament. Here it works particularly well anchoring sitting rooms, under low coffee tables, or beneath cane and rattan furniture where the geometry contrasts with the curve. The green ground is closer to forest than sage β it sits comfortably with deep wood, brass, and natural linen.
Made in India in 100% wool, hand-tufted for a fuller, more architectural surface than a flatweave dhurrie. The scale of the diamond keeps the pattern legible from across a room while the matte wool finish prevents any sheen.
