SMOKED WILD TEA

These Smoked Wild Teas are grown on lofty trees from Manipur which are collected over elephant backs to make the local beverage for colonial guests as a gesture of warmth and welcome. The tea leaves were fried and sun-dried to extract the best flavour, then smoked in bamboo cylinders to add piquancy to the tea.
