A monumental, half-revealed visage floats in a field of velvet darkness, its closed eye and softened profile suggesting meditation rather than portraiture, as if the self is turning inward to listen. Luminous blues and greens are set ablaze by eruptions of magenta and gold, creating a living topography across the cheekβpart cosmos, part flameβwhere emotion becomes weather and thought becomes color. The rhythmic beads above and the curling rose-like plume to the side read like a halo of breath or mantra, framing the head as a vessel through which energy circulates, purifies, and transforms. In its interplay of stillness and chromatic intensity, the work proposes serenity not as absence of turmoil, but as a disciplined alchemy of it.
