Recommend that while packing a bookmark, you fix it on a plain paper (as shown) so that unsuspecting receivers know what the item is. Ordered it as a surprise gift for a voracious reader friend. She loved it but the irony is that for the first few minutes she coudnt make out that it was a bookmark. She even thought of taking it to the jeweller to add a loop to the item to make it into a usable pendant.
