Story

His grandmother often lamented that shed never had a chance to discover herself, as a person. Shed spent her entire life being a wife, a mother, and then a grandmother. She longed to experience what it felt like to go out and earn your own living. To not have to ask, but to give. That Diwali, he decided to surprise her by setting up an online store to accept orders for her traditional treats. Together, they prepared a large batch of dodha barfi, one of the first desserts shed cooked for his late grandfather. She swore that her barfi made him fall in love with her. A few days later, he proudly handed his grandmother her first cheque. As she held it in her withered hands, a small tear trickled down her cheek.
