This work stages a fragmented visage across vertical bands of ochre and umber, as if identity is being assembled from strata of memory and time-worn surfaces. The delicate linework—part contour, part textile-like pattern—moves between restraint and intimacy, while the mottled, earth-toned grounds evoke weathered walls inscribed with faint traces of passage. Set within a generous field of white, the figure feels both protected and isolated, suggesting a quiet meditation on visibility: what is revealed in profile and what remains deliberately withheld.
