Handwoven in Bengal cotton, Sooti remains the most practical textile that can be worn under the summer sun.
‘Moitra’ red Sooti sari is woven with cotton warp and weft, and features multicolored jamdani square butis. The border features a stripe in rani pink and the palla has running Dhanshara (braided cotton yarn) and is outlined with highlights in rani pink.
This textile may reflect natural variations within yarn, color, weave and/or embroidery.
