A hand-woven wool dhurrie in the kilim flatweave tradition, two-tone geometry in ivory and a muted pink laid in horizontal bands across a tightly woven ground. No pile β the pattern reads as structure rather than texture, and the rug sits flat. Reversible, like all true flatweaves.
Dhurries have long been India's flatweave: thinner, lighter, easier to live with than tufted carpets, woven across Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh for generations. The pink is the grown-up kind β closer to rose-clay or old fresco than anything candy-sweet. Works in bedrooms, dressing rooms, sitting rooms with warm-toned walls, or as a soft note in an otherwise neutral interior.
Made in India in 100% wool. The kilim banding keeps the pattern legible without dominating, and the flatweave construction sits well under furniture without lifting at the edges.
