Amchur, also referred to as Dry Mango Powder, is a fruity spice powder made from dried unripe green mangoes and is used as a citrusy seasoning. It is soury yet sweet to taste. It is used to flavour foods. Apart from adding flavour, colour and taste to the food, amchur powder comprises various health benefits. It contains many nutrients including vitamin A, E and C, and antioxidants, and is used in preparing many Ayurvedic medicines.
