So many ways to see him. A powerful toddler, a little thief, a lover, a flutist, a demon killer, famously a charioteer and ultimately a god. But it is Krishna the cowherd that sets him apart from the rest. Here, he is no king, or elite, or distinguished, or desired in any obvious way. Here, he is close to the world and the people in it. Seeming like just another lad in the village, he secretly holds the world in his mouth.
