

This work stages a quiet cosmology in layered, earthen pigments, where a circular field holds a triangular vessel-like form that reads as both altar and aperture. At its core, an eye-shaped nucleus radiates like a small sun, suggesting inner sight and the disciplined focus of contemplation, while the dense, tactile surface—etched with repeating filigree—turns light into something almost audible, a hush of accumulated time. Below, a second orb rests in a cradle of pale stone, separated by a dark, rootlike band that feels like the threshold between the conscious and the subterranean, binding vision to origin. The composition’s symmetry is never rigid; it breathes through subtle asymmetries and weathered edges, proposing a ritual balance between protection and exposure, grounding and ascent.
