I bought two of these caps; one in gray and one in pink hibiscus. They are attractive hats. However, the strap is not done correctly. The hard, scratchy part of the hook & loop tape is facing inward, toward the scalp and neck. On my other hats (new era and no-name's) the scratchy part faces outward, where it will not snag the hair or scrape the scalp. I have ordered hook & loop tape to attach a piece to the exposed backing. With this type of basic design flaw, I just can't recommend thes

Seemed like it made my head hotter, heavier, the older style Columbia hats I've been using for years seemed cooler. Bulkier looking around the rim, didn't like the way it looked. Sorry Columbia, love your stuff but this didn't work for me. Have been wearing your hats working in a hot kitchen for years and expected more reading the reviews.
