A hand-woven wool dhurrie in the kilim flatweave tradition, two-tone geometry in ivory and blue laid in horizontal bands across a tightly woven ground. No pile β the pattern reads as structure rather than texture, and the rug sits flat. Reversible, like all true flatweaves.
Dhurries have long been India's flatweave: thinner, lighter, easier to live with than tufted carpets, woven across Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh for generations. The ivory-and-blue palette sits comfortably in interiors that favour quiet contrast β works in dining rooms where chairs need to move without catching, in hallways and bedrooms where weight isn't wanted underfoot.
Made in India in 100% wool. The kilim banding keeps the pattern simple enough to layer with other textiles and bold enough to anchor a smaller room on its own.
