Across four intimate panels, a carved, temple-like femininity emerges from dense black voids, as if memory itself has been excavated from night into ochre and sepia relief. The figuresβpart idol, part mortalβare tethered to columns, plinths, and patterned bases, their elongated gestures and ornamented surfaces turning the body into architecture and the shrine into a psyche. The stark negative space presses in like silence, amplifying the delicate linework and ritual objects so that devotion reads equally as confinement, a choreography of grace negotiated within symbolic weight. Seen together, the sequence feels like a cyclical narrative of embodiment: presence flickers, recedes, and returns, each pose another stanza in an ongoing liturgy of endurance.
