This composition stages a fractured architecture of planes and frames, where charcoal-like gestures slice through translucent washes as if tracing the memory of a room rather than its physical walls. Cool slate blues and bruised maroons press against one another, turning the central crimson form into a pulsing coreβhalf wound, half blossomβheld in tension by sharp, calligraphic lines. Light seems to seep from behind the surface, illuminating edges while leaving interior spaces suspended in ambiguity, suggesting a psyche partitioned into compartments that cannot fully contain what they feel. The work reads as an urban interior of emotion: constructed, layered, and repeatedly interrupted by the insistence of motion.
