


Teej, a three day long Hindu festival is celebrated with zeal and fervor across different states. It is celebrated to remember the bond of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. On this day, women keep ‘Nirjara Vrat’ for their husband’s prosperous and long life. The Jhula is symbolic as women sit on swings trying to imitate the deities. This Teej jhula is adorned with golden and silver decorative strips in various patterns and designs.
