Mid-Century Modern was a movement in interior design, product design, graphic design, architecture and urban development across the world from roughly 1945 to 1970. Scandinavia, in particular, had a great influence on mid-century modern furniture design, which was minimalist, clean-lined and looked to combine functionality with beauty, as well as being well-crafted, classic, and timeless.
