This work stages a quiet tension between order and ignition: a smoldering orange core is held in check by a cool, ribbed diamond, as if heat and impulse are being disciplined into structure. The surrounding grid of muted browns and sanded olives reads like a tactile architecture—repeated, measured, almost ceremonial—while the thick, striated surface catches light in small reliefs that make the composition feel carved rather than painted. In its geometry, the piece suggests protection and confinement at once, a symbolic mandala of containment where vitality persists, pulsing, within the boundaries we build.
