This sculptural assemblage stages a fragile equilibrium: a sleek, birdlike form leans forward in a poised descent, its dark patina catching light like a quiet pulse against the matte, sand-colored void. Beneath it, an ovoid βseedβ or heart of warm terracotta appears cracked open to reveal a cooler, oxidized interiorβan image of protection breached, yet also of emergence. The bed of scattered, nail-like fragments reads as both nest and hazard, turning the act of landing into a meditation on how creation often rests upon the remnants of rupture and labor. In the tension between polished contour and rough detritus, the work proposes renewal not as innocence regained, but as balance won moment by moment.
