



βMohlaiβ sari in yellow Varanasi silk brocade features palm trees surrounded by foliage and peacocks, woven with gold zari and silver meena. The floral motifs are woven using the elaborate Kadwa technique where each motif is woven individually utilizing an extra weft insertion, and the reverse of the textile reveals the absence of thread floats. The sari is finished with facing.
This handwoven textile reflects natural variations within yarn, color, weave and/or embroidery.
