This sculpture is part of a series titled 'Domesticated Animilia'. The sculptural installations are derived from models of children’s toys, where the striking colours and sturdy lines imitate the world of toddlers with joyful expressions, while replicating the wilderness of childhood experiences. The creations bring forth a hidden side of Laxman Aelay — his role as a playful grandfather to his three grandsons, translating his emotions through these domesticated wild beasts in toy-like forms.
