still have two of this same Silver Ridge line (or so it seems, as there are no names on the tags) of hiking shorts that I purchased from a Columbia Outlet store in 2013 or so. (Yes, the Outlet store can have different styles altogether, but still....) The 2022 version is made of a slightly thinner material and there is now cloth on the inner waistband. Using a kitchen scale, and removing the belts, my older shorts weighed in at 7.2 oz and the 2022 shorts were 6.6 oz. -- without the cloth on the
