Sri Prasanna Shankara

This is an oleograph of Sri Prasanna Shankara by the artist Siddalinga Swamy (Shilpi Siddalinga Swami) of Mysore. It has been made in the Ravi Varma Press, Malavali in 1932. The image depicts Shiva Prasanna (prassana means happily) seated on a throne surrounded by his ganas and devotees. Nandi is shown touching Shiva’s foot to the left and Ganesh stands in the lower right.
