Pontevecchio, is the most important bridge in Florence with its historic goldsmiths. A symbol of Italian culture and the greatest, "magnificent" heritage of the De Medici family. It was thanks to Caterina De Medici that the art of perfumery approached the French court thanks to her art of perfuming herself which she had learned in the Florence where she had grown up. The Florentine Iris is the main protagonist of the fragrance and evokes the spirit of a man like that of the Nobile family: who faces life with courage, a man with a history of passion and the constant search for beauty.
