Uma Parvati

Known as the 'Mother of Liberation' in Buddhism, Tara is a female Bodhisattva, representing virtues of universal compassion and enlightened action. Tara is the name of a whole class of deities and there are several distinct forms. This is a sculpture of Uma Parvati, a form of Tara, who is known for compassion and longevity of life. Made in brass, this exquisite sculpture features Tara with blue hair tied up at the back of her head.
