This work stages a delicate collision between presence and erasure: a faint, reddish figure hovers at the threshold while a fractured interior—built from tiled, paper-like planes—tilts and breaks open into luminous white. The composition’s skewed geometry and taped seams evoke a space under reconstruction, where memory is assembled in shards rather than continuous narrative. Light becomes an ethical force here, bleaching certainty and turning the room into an exposed psyche, while the silhouetted foreground objects read like quiet witnesses to a life partially withheld.
