This work stages a tense, cubist-like assembly of fractured planes where two elongated hands dominate the pictorial field, their angular gestures hovering between care and control. A strict band of orange crowns the composition like a lid or horizon, while the central blaze—contained within a boxlike hearth—offers a pulsing core of warmth that the surrounding blacks and greys seem to restrain. Accents of green, blue, and a small flower introduce flickers of tenderness, suggesting that intimacy persists even inside a world structured by sharp edges and imposed boundaries. The image reads as a quiet allegory of protection: heat, memory, and domestic ritual held together by decisive line and the choreography of touch.
