This work stages a quiet negotiation between structure and impulse, where chalky linear glyphs hover like scaffolding over fields of ochre and ash. A luminous vertical seam of green-to-blue cleaves the composition, reading as both threshold and ruptureβan aperture through which energy leaks into an otherwise earthen, contained space. The rough, worked surface and intermittent flashes of red suggest a memory of impact, as if the painting is mapping the moment when order frays and a more vital, unruly presence insists on entering.
