This work constructs an architectural memory from layered blocks of indigo, umber, and chalky white, where scraped textures and ribbed incisions feel like scaffolding holding a fragile order in place. The composition compresses inward around a luminous central void, suggesting both sanctuary and absenceβan interior space carved out of pressure and accumulation. Small flashes of red and ochre operate like emotional fault lines, interrupting the sober palette and hinting at lived intensity beneath the city-like facade. In its balance of heft and abrasion, the painting becomes a meditation on how structure is continually rebuilt from erosion, touch, and time.
