A dominant ochre-gold veil glows against the dark framing bands, turning the surface into a kind of illuminated relief where light seems to be trapped in sediment and released through intricate, looping lines. The compressed space refuses a single focal point, instead offering a slow, archaeological encounter in which repetition becomes ritual and the eye moves as if deciphering a private language.
