‘Agastya’ gold lehenga and ‘Bhrigu’ gold blouse in Varanasi silk brocade features blooming Anar Phool (pomegranate flower) motifs that are drawn from our archival textile from late 18th century called “Gulnaar”.
The brocade is woven through the Phekwa technique wherein the weft remains embedded in the warp, interlaced from selvedge to selvedge, creating surface textures of the base or zamin.
This lehenga is paired with 'Satvat' odhani
Odhani worn by the model is not included.
Natural variations in colours and weave are part of the textile, as it is handwoven.
