In his journey of solitude and renunciation, Buddha sat under the Bodhgaya. Realising that the tree had a 'flame' within it, he said to himself that he would meditate there till the flame entered him. Enlightenment existed in nature before we found it. It was held in the palm of the Devi—both as the wild dark one, and the turmeric wearing mother.
