Originally a turban craft rooted in the celebration of monsoon, Laheriya is a tie-dye tradition from Rajasthan. The animation inherent in dyed stripes results in a sense of movement akin to rainfall.
βBalotraβ silk sari features dyed stripes in indigo and electric blue punctuated with white, drawing from 'Pachranga', which is a Laheriya striped pattern composed of five colors.
This textile may reflect natural variations within yarn, color, weave and/or embroidery.
The sari is paired here with the 'Ailin' blouse.
Blouse is not included.
