This work immerses the viewer in a field of incandescent red, where countless short, directional strokes accumulate into a vibrating skin of paint that feels at once intimate and immense. A subtle cruciform axis—formed by shifts in density and orientation—anchors the composition, turning the surface into a site of convergence, as if energy is being gathered, compressed, and released. The occasional cool flecks puncturing the warmth read like grit or ash, tempering the fervor with restraint and suggesting that intensity is never pure, but always negotiated through texture and resistance. What emerges is a meditation on inner heat—pulse, urgency, and persistence—made visible through the labor of repetition.
