A tidal field of ember and ochre drifts across the surface, its layered strokes building a horizon that is felt more than seen—like heat rising from earth at dusk. The composition breathes through gradations of density, where brighter ridges of pigment crest and dissolve into darker, sedimented reds, suggesting both accumulation and erasure. Light is not depicted so much as generated: it seems to ignite within the paint, turning the canvas into a slow weather-system of memory, resilience, and impending change. In this suspended atmosphere, the work becomes a meditation on transformation—how intensity can soothe, and how warmth can also warn.
