This work elevates a solitary tree into a quiet monument, its trunk rendered as a slow river of finely striated lines that suggests time deposited in rings, memory, and skin. Against an earthen field of rust and umber, the canopy breaks into flickering marks—like fragments of light or whispered breath—creating a tremulous halo that oscillates between abundance and dissolution. The composition’s gentle lean and rooted weight hold a poised tension: stability anchored in the ground while the crown disperses into a constellation of moments, implying resilience as an act of continual becoming.
