The moon had always fascinated her. She had developed her nightly moon ritual as a young girl “ while looking out at the moon through her bedroom window, she would extend her hand until her thumb would cover the moon. Then, she would jump out of bed and run to her father. œPapa, will you get me the moon? she would ask, her eyes gleaming. œMaybe you could bring the moon home when you grow up, hed respond. She made those words her lifes mission. She became the first woman to set foot on the moon and made history. And now, standing at the lakes edge, gazing the refection of the moon against the still, black waters, she knew she had done her father proud. She had dared to romance the moon.

Description
