'Parigul' Varanasi silk brocade odhani draws from our textile archives, made using the elaborate Kadwa technique, wherein each motif is woven separately in a 'jangla' pattern. It features the play of Meenakari on the trellis of flowers, inspired by printed textiles such as kalamkari chintz depicting flora and fauna.
Garments worn by the model are not included.
This handwoven textile reflects natural variations within yarn, color, weave and/or embroidery.
