‘Parigul' Varanasi silk brocade sari is drawn from our textile archives, made using the elaborate Kadwa technique, where each motif is woven separately in a 'jangla' pattern. It features the play of Meenakari on the trellis of flowers, inspired by printed textiles such as kalamkari chintz depicting flora and fauna.
The sari is paired here with the 'Atreyi' blouse.
Blouse worn by the model is not included.
Natural variations in colours and weave are part of the textile, as it is handwoven.
