Ganesha with Ashta Siddhis

Ganesha, who is widely revered as the Lord of Success and Prosperity and the Remover of Obstacles, is also known to possess the ashta siddhis, or eight spiritual attainments or powers. In the artwork, the powers are represented by the eight attendants that surround Lord Ganesha. The eight women are sometimes thought to be goddesses themselves.
