A hand-tufted wool carpet that translates the Suzani embroidery tradition of Central Asia to floor scale, the floral medallions and tendril work laid in pile across a deep, garnet red ground. The dense construction gives the motifs visual weight β layered multicolour against a dense red field, giving the pattern depth rather than print-like flatness.
Suzani patterns originated in Uzbekistan as silk-thread embroidery on dowry textiles; here the same vocabulary is rebuilt in tufted wool, fuller and more sculptural than the original. Works in sitting rooms that can carry colour, under low furniture, or as the central note in a bedroom where the warmth of red is functional rather than decorative.
Made in India in 100% wool, hand-tufted for an architectural pile that holds the layered motif sharply. The scale and density of the Suzani field keep the rug grounded β it adds richness without becoming the loudest thing in a room.
