Three stone forms rise like quiet sentinels, each crowned with a folded, winglike lid that reads simultaneously as shelter and restraint. The restrained grayscale palette and speckled granite surface turn light into a soft, tactile hush, while the subtle etched motifs—suggestive of vines or currents—thread a sense of life through the monumentality. Their staggered heights and forward-leaning “wings” create a rhythmic procession, as if the sculptures are caught mid-bow, honoring an unseen passage between earthbound weight and the desire to lift. In this tension between solidity and flight, the work meditates on protection, metamorphosis, and the tender gravity of remembrance.
