This suite of small, weathered sheets reads like a fragmented diary of bodies and spirits, where figuration surfaces only to dissolve again into stain, ash, and whispered line. Earth-toned washes—ochres, bruised browns, and smoky greys—create a bruised atmosphere of time, while sudden threads of red operate as pulse marks, sutures, or warnings that keep the images tethered to lived sensation. Each panel holds a solitary presence caught between erosion and emergence, suggesting memory’s unstable theatre: what we recall is never whole, only reassembled from pressure, desire, and loss.
